MONICA BELYEA, MPH, RD
Having served in a variety of membership and Board roles with the CBC, Monica is excited to continue to serve behind the scenes in the role of Secretary. Monica currently works as a Nutrition Consultant for the CT Department of Public Health. Her expertise is in Early Childhood health and education systems and cross sector collaboration as well as content expertise in infant and young child feeding and nutrition. Monica earned her MPH from the University of California, Berkeley and her BS in Human Nutrition and Foods from UMaine. She is the proud mama of two wonderful children and two fur babies. She enjoys crafting, especially crocheting, reading and hiking. She brings her commitment to becoming more anti-racist to all aspects of her personal and professional life.
