JACQUI PENDA, CLC
Jacqui Penda is a passionate supporter of moms and families in CT. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor, Birth & Postpartum Doula and provides moms with educational breast pump support in her role with Acelleron, a health and wellness company.
She is especially passionate about ensuring all working moms in CT have a functional, clean and comfortable lactation space to pump while at work. This harkens back not only to her previous experience of inadequate pumping conditions but also to conversations she has with moms on a daily basis.
In addition to her committee chair role with the CBC, Jacqui serves on the planning committee for the annual Compassionate Care Awards hosted by Hope After Loss, a volunteer organization in CT which offers programs to support those affected by pregnancy and infant loss. A former milk donor, Jacqui also works closely with Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast to help promote and educate others about the importance of donor milk. She is a mother of two boys, both of which were breastfed for the first year of life.
