ERINN TANGUAY, IBCLC, CBS, LE
Erinn is an IBCLC in private practice and a volunteer peer counselor. She also facilitates an exam prep and study group for those who are taking the IBCLC board examination. She got started with breastfeeding advocacy in 2008 with the birth of her first child. Since then, she has personally breastfed four children over the years, and has been a human milk donor to an additional five. Before she was an IBCLC, she was a Human Resources Manager, and with that background comes a passion for advocating for the rights of parents in the workplace who seek to provide human milk for their children. She is personally committed to diversity and inclusion and strives to carry a personal awareness of biases so she may work to break down cultural, systemic, historical, and structural barriers to care. In her free time, Erinn enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking. She lives in the Quiet Corner with her husband of 20 years, their four children, and two rescued house cats.
