Jennifer is registered nurse, certified childbirth educator and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Maternal Child Health Educator at Griffin Hospital. She is a consultant for technical assistance to the Executive Director of Baby-Friendly USA and the consultant to the Connecticut Breastfeeding Initiative (CBI).

As consultant for the CBI, she has provided the required education to support the 10 Steps to a Baby-Friendly Hospital to almost 900 healthcare professionals in CT. As the past and current Northeast Regional Representative to USBC, Jennifer participated in the planning of the National Meeting in 2010. She was a member of USBC task force to create the Joint Commission’s Tool kit for new core measure 2010 and a member of USBC task force to create core measure tool for Health Care Practitioners on Breastfeeding. Jennifer is a past Chairperson of the CBC and has served on the CBC Board of Directors as Member at Large. For the CBC, she was co-coordinator of the Business Case for Breastfeeding and oversees the Breastfeeding Friendly Employer Award in CT. Jennifer has written numerous articles for expectant parents on the subjects of childbirth and breastfeeding.
